I got to work with the team at Trifilm on an exciting project for Breakthrough Energy. The project consisted of two animated videos to educate on what each of us can do to help fight climate change.
Illustration & Character Design
I joined the project as an animator and illustrator, helping to assist in both areas. The storyboard and papercut style had already been established, so my first task was to design several frames and create an overall character design that would complement the overall tone of the animations.
Animation
I was assigned shots to animate from both videos. The majority of my shots included character animation. After we had animated all of the shots, we colour graded and added the paper cutout effect. Below are some of the bits I got to animate!
